Before working with Lily, I was a misinformed young woman who didn’t know how to find the balance needed to sustain and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Being in college, stress levels are high and the want to succeed is even higher, and I had been using exercise and eating as a way to have something in my life I could control. Too much cardio, not enough food, and nowhere near happy, I was headed in the wrong direction fast. Unfortunately, I believe my situation is something that so many young women my age struggle with themselves. My first breakthrough of the program came when I read through her very detailed eBook. It set such an amazing and accurate foundation that was needed in order for me to excel. The biggest was definitely when I started to realize how actually INCREASING (my food) made me feel even better about myself. My custom workouts allowed me to be excited about the gym again, and for the first time in a long time I didn’t feel like I was punishing myself for the food I ate, or trying to burn x number of calories.
After completing my program my mood for the day no longer depended on what weight the scale read that morning. I made incredible changes to my body, and have the knowledge to continue improving, but the biggest change I made was one with my mindset. After just 8 weeks I reached a place mentally I didn’t even realize was possible. I have confidence in myself that exceeds physical appearance. My friends and family didn’t just notice the hard work I applied in the gym, they noticed how genuinely happy and less stress I became. This is something I wish every single person struggling to find that balance of constant dieting could feel/understand. Stay dedicated, stay consistent, and trust your coach. It’s not easy to forget about the false information that you may have heard over the years, but I promise when you focus on your personal path, the satisfaction at the end is so extremely worth it.
I am on a 12 week program with Lily and I believe I'm on week 6. I've had a few hiccups, but Lily has been there each step of the way guiding me and motivating me to push through. I love her for all that she's done! My journey is halfway done and I'm ready to take it on! Thanks coach!
After completing my program, I signed up for another one. I was so impressed with my progress and with the knowledge that Lily imparted to me. I felt her program was something I could accomplish and not have to drastically alter my life to achieve. I was also very impressed with Lily's patience, both with my million questions and my impatience with myself.
I spent the last few years of my life traveling back and forth between two states (one where I live and work and the other where my family and friends live). It has been hard to keep a consistent workout routine when traveling sucks the life out of you, back and forth and back and forth. In 5 weeks I am feeling stronger than ever. I started the first week off using 5lb, 8lb, 10lb weights and have entered this 5th week pushing 15lb, 17.5lb and 20lbs for the various different exercises. My body craves waking up with the sore “I worked out” muscle feeling when I have taken a rest day or was traveling for the weekend and my gym routine has now become a habit!
This time around it doesn't feel like a diet, it feels like a sustainable lifestyle change, which is what I have been striving for all these years. I have tried different fad diets and other no carb/paleo/food plans and nothing seems to stick. I haven't felt this GREAT in a long time.
